Things will never be the same now that millions of employees have had a taste of remote-work, especially for many office building landlords.
Low occupancy, high interest rates, and other factors are making it more difficult for commercial building owners to stay current on their payments and avoid defaulting to creditors. Even larger companies are falling victim to the change in times. And it doesn’t seem like we should hold our breathes for a time that people will want to return to the office.
