CBRE’s Global Spring 2022 Occupier Sentiment Survey, based on 185 companies with offices located in the US, reveals companies are now planning their office portfolios around hybrid work.
39% of these companies plan on expanding their office portfolio. This is based on company growth and hiring, and is up from 29% in 2021.
52% plan on reducing office space over the next 3 years in anticipation of increased remote work.
Separately, 51% of the companies surveyed plan to increase flex space, whether they are increasing or decreasing their office portfolio.
