Cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting are becoming the new normal within commercial office space.

Cleaning typically involves soap and water. This removes some bacteria and germs but the surface can still be unsafe. 

Sanitizing means using alcohol or a chemical to reduce the amount of germs and bacteria. By sanitizing, you are reducing the level of exposure necessary to get sick. 

Disinfecting is the most intense process here, which involves using disinfectant chemicals and leaving them on the surface for an extended amount of time. This can be effective but can cause other problems – exposing tenants to Clorox and Bleach which are both potential carcinogens. This probably isn’t something you want to breathe in all day.
