Meet The G.E. GRACE Team

George E. Grace, CRE has over 33 years of experience in commercial real estate. George began his career as a civil engineer, after graduating from Cooper Union. He received a law degree from Fordham University and an MBA from The University of Chicago. In 2012, George achieved the designation of Counselor of Real Estate (“CRE”) by the National Association of Realtors which signifies a depth of knowledge, experience and integrity. George has been involved in wide range of consulting and brokerage assignments. He is also Chair of CMCCS Charter School in the Bronx which is among several other charitable boards on which he serves.

Edward R. Pezzaro, Esq. has 30 plus years of brokerage and legal experience, with a focus on the analysis and negotiation of leases and contracts, which continues to serve his clients beyond their expectations. He is a licensed NewYork real estate broker and an attorney admitted in New York and New Jersey.

Prior to joining G.E. Grace, Ed was Senior Vice President and General Counsel to Cross & Brown Company, an affiliate of MetLife. Ed earned his law degree from Fordham University where he also received his bachelor’s degree magna cum laude.

Charles Turbak has over 30 years of real estate development and brokerage experience. He was the cofounder of a successful real estate development, investment, brokerage and property management company in Seattle, Washington where his pioneering ideas led to his company’s development of several commercial business parks. Charles volunteers for the New York City Department of Education Leadership Team and Parents Association and serves as a board member and coach for a New York City youth lacrosse league.

Lewis Cowan has over 36 years of experience in commercial real estate. Prior to joining G.E. Grace, Lew was an Executive Managing Director at Grubb & Ellis and Vice President at Silverstein Properties, Inc. Lew was also a Managing Director of Real Estate at American International Group (AIG) and the Edward S. Gordon Company. He started his business career at Xerox.

Lew holds a BA degree in Psychology from SUNY Courtland and a MS and Ed.S. in Counseling Psychology from SUNY Albany.

Barbara Eddington received her degree from New York University Real Estate Institute. Prior to joining GE Grace & Company, Barbara began her career in commercial real estate at Cross & Brown Company. She was recently recognized in the “THE REAL DEAL” and received the “Tishman Speyer’s Dealmaker Award” for 2012 and 2016. Barbara is an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York, a member of the Grand Central Committee of the Real Estate Board and The Women’s Real Estate Association. Barbara is also active in several charitable organizations throughout the New York Area, including the Alliance for Lupus Research.

Sharon Cacioppo serves as G.E. Grace’s office manager. Prior to joining G.E. Grace, Sharon managed the day-to-day operations of several businesses, most notably, for several film companies that produced feature films as well as commercials. In her free time, Sharon enjoys oil painting, quilting and poetry.
